A cunning serial killer
(Keanu) lures a former FBI agent (Spader) out of retirement in a
cat-and-mouse game, providing him with clues as to the next victims,
challenging the man who spend eight years trying to catch him to
finally succeed.
Joe Charbanic (the director and
co-screenwriter) previously shot documentary footage of Keanu's band
Dogstar that ended up on the band's enhanced debut CD Quattro
Formaggi. Shot on
location in Chicago. The title of this film was changed from Driven
to The Watcher in May 2000. Gossip:
We hear that Keanu refuses to do publicity for this film. There
was some gossip that Keanu was spotted in Yuma, Arizona in May
shooting scenes for this movie. Those rumors turned out to be false. There
is some behind the scenes effects footage at: Hollywood
On Set. (Still listed as "Driven.") |
